A few weeks ago, while eating at Chick-fil-A, the kids got a book in their meals about some interesting things to see along the west coast. Among them was the World's Largest Artichoke, which is located in Castroville, CA.
Last weekend, since we were kicked out of our home buy termites and in Monterey for the Pac-Grove triathlon, we decided to make a small stop on our way home to see the artichoke. As we pulled up to it, Alex exclaimed, "Wow! It's the same as in the book!"
