On September 29, the whole family traveled to St. George, Utah, to cheer on Jim in the marathon. Upon arriving in St. George, the kids made themselves home at the hotel, and we ate at The Pizza Factory for dinner that night.
The next day, Jim got up early, and went for a quick run. After he returned, we went to the race expo, and then to the St. George Temple. The kids really enjoyed this and the Temple was beautiful.
Later that afternoon, we went to dinner with some friend of ours from college, who live in St. George, the Felders. It was so much fun to see them after all these years, and our kids were more than excited to play with other kids their age.
On Saturday, Jim ran his marathon. He didn't do as good as he had hoped he would, but he did finish.
Since we had nothing better to do that evening, we took that kids to a place called Jumping Jacks, in hopes it would exhaust their energies and we would all get a good nights sleep. We played there for 3 hours, and to only ones exhausted were me and Jim.
While reviewing the pictures of the trip, it was decided there were not enough pictures of me, so we took some. Also while in St. George, all the kids had their first Dilly Bars!
