On one of our last days in the Spokane area, Grandma Tonie came up with the fantastic idea of taking the kids to a park she had found on the Internet. It was called Discovery Playground, and not only had tons of fun stuff for the kids to do, but lot of educational fun as well. However, the best part was that there was a splash pad!
Since the park was about halfway between Grandma's house, and our friends, the Foster's, house, we called and invited them to join us. Isaac, Mia, and Quintin, really enjoyed playing in the water, then getting all muddy in the sandbox.
Izzy, Alex, Donovan, Westin, and Kendal spent tons of time in the water.
Besides the water and sand, there were musical instruments to play on, like the huge chimes behind Izzy, and the drums that Alex is sitting on,
large dinosaur eggs for the kids to hatch out of,
rock climbing walls,
over sized plants, creatures, furniture, and croquet pins,
a kid-sized picnic area/play house,
and a place for the kids to learn about various animals and fossils.
Needless to say, they all went to bed without complaints that night.
