Yesterday was my baby boy's first birthday! I almost cried. It still seems that he was just born, and here he is, a year old. The same could be said about my little girl. She will be 3 in June!!
We celebrated Alex's big day by having a family dinner with Aunt Terri, Uncle Keith, and Kaden, followed by an "everything made from scratch" carrot cake, decorated to look like a soccer ball. It took me 2 hours to decorate that thing, and only seconds to destroy it, but it tasted oh so good, and the birthday boy really enjoyed it. Izzy, on the other hand, promptly put her piece in the trash, and then complained that she didn't have any. It was quite funny.
